Couch helped out in this prairie styled shoot posted in Every Last Detail. Thanks to Wendie Bass for including us and Kristina Lynn Photography and Design for the great photos. Check out all of the great vendors who put in a days work on the prairie. It wasn't like we were bailing hay but we still had to get that couch out there.
Last February Red Line Gallery hosted the Winter Wine Fest. A great affair featuring crafted wines from Colorado and other regions. Food, music, and a few treats to take home. Thanks to the people at Colorado Party Rentals and Caitlin Johnson for letting us create a space to kick back, sip and nosh.
The lovesick expo was hit. A very well attended show at Mile High Station. We really enjoyed doing something a little different for a wedding show and the people at Lovesick and The Offbeat Bride were a hoot to work with. Yes, a 'hoot'. The brown two tone looks great in industrial spaces with rustic accents. Thanks you to my friend Crystal with Crystal in the Garden for the finishing touch and to Offbeat Bride for including us. Check out the great vendors including Modern Edge Events and Catering, a unique catering company who goes way, way beyond your choice of chicken, beef or fish.
A great time was had by all (You should have seen the ballroom after the event!) at the Levine Bar Mitzvah at the Boulder Renaissance. Couch provided white lounge furniture for the event and unveiled our 5' round tufted leather ottoman. Hats off to the Levine family and thank to Brittany and her crew at the Renaissance for all their help. We'll see if the the next kid can top it.
That's right. The Cannabis Wedding Expo. There will be fine wines, locally sourced foods, great music, craft beers and a budtender! We took part (Took part, not 'partook') in the Cannabis Wedding Expo last January at Point Gallery last January. Put on by the lovely Bec Koop with Cannabis Concierge Events, it was everything you need to know about the how, why and loopholes of having a touch o' the green at your wedding.
Great group of people to work with and a great turn out. Hats off to Bec for putting her heart out there for a first of it's kind event. Couch provided white leather lounges to kick back and a leaf patterned bar for beverages.
Thanks to Courtney Stain and the great group at RMC, we have added a new set of contemporary brown furniture. Sleek and slender making it great for tight spaces, such as a booth, and versatile, great for weddings or even a patio.
Let us know how we can help you kick back and relax.
A great time was had at Bites and Bottles last week. Beer, whiskey, wine, song and dance, all for a good cause. And oh yes, a few couches. Thanks to all those who participated and keep it in kind for next year, we'll keep you posted. Thanks to Cal Cheney with All Digital Studios, www.alldigitalstudios.com, for the photos. #bitesandbottles #NACEDenver
Great wedding on a beautiful and breezy evening at Blanc with Jessica McTaggart of Pink Champagne Events. The white lounge furniture fits right in. We wish the best for Katie and Jared Blackney who were both a true pleasure to work with. We also wondered how many people drove by Blanc and thought 'Ooh...there's a new place called Blackney on Walnut we need to try'.
It was nice to partner up with my longtime and dear friend Val Schaefer of VSDesigns who did the drape, trees and chandeliers. I'm also loving the group in Trulife Studios, and I have barely scratched the surface..
The Bites and Bottles crew stays true to its name. For bottles, we have great local brewers signed up. Tommyknocker, Prost, MU Brewery, Boggy Draw and Great Divide are good to go. For bites, original small plates from great caterers such as Encore, Relish, Occasions and Gourmet are there along with treats from Seattle Fresh Fish CO (Crab claws), Ugly Goat Milk Co (Rumor has it there will be Goat Cheese Fudge) and The Makery (Seriously wicked desserts beyond cake!). If you are not into beer there will be margs from Colorado's own Coyote Gold. And there will be wine.
Also a silent and live auction hosted by Reggie Rivers, featuring a Batavus Bike, not available here in the U.S., Broncos Tickets and an entire Holiday event, all inclusive of food, venue, music and, staying true to the Couch name, lounge furniture. Check it out at www.bitesandbottlescolorado.com. Register to support two great causes and eat and drink until your hearts content.
Great and interesting event with ArcView Group at the Seawell Ballroom. Right now I'm wishing I had turned around and snapped a photo of the white circular dance floor the crew at DPAC put down. An awesome set up and with all of their lighting abilities and incredible crew they really know how to make an event pop.
We're not going to change the name of the company but we have partnered up with a colleague and these bars are available to us. They have changeable faceplates with dots, stripes, fans, standard plexi and, hello weddings, chalkboard. Matching 2' square pedestals are available for more serving room. Let us know if you are interested and we will be happy to help.
Had a great night at the ISES Design Showcase last Tuesday at Wings Over the Rockies. Couch was on the winning Allwell Rents team, along with Modern Edge Events and Catering, Highlights Colorado, Candlelight Ambiance and Platypus Papers. A great team to work with and very huge thank you to the great people at Décor n More, for lending us some transportation. And thank you to Willie Ripple, for reaching out and letting us participate. And thank you (I know this like an overbearing Oscar winning speech) to Studio JK Photography, for the photos.
Couch is a sponsor of the ISES Denver Annual Showcase on April 21st at Wings Over the Rockies. We will be providing, you guessed it, couches, hence the name. Register online at www.isesdenver.com. Come out and see some of Denver's best designers team up to create a unique and inviting space.
A special thanks to Cal Chaney with All Digital Photo and Video for introducing me to the great people at The Chateaux at Fox Meadows. And to Scott Hittelman, owner of Lighting and Design by Scott who helped out an out a man who was pretty seriously under the weather get his name out. No photos. Private party. A little furniture goes a long way.
My boys. They had just come in from rolling in the snow. Luckily the came to rest on the futon in the spare bedroom. Sometimes you just let them do what they do.
As the new rental furniture came off the truck a few friends shook their fingers and told me we need to stage it and take photos. So here you go! Thanks to Crystal Oleskevich with Crystal in the Garden, Val Schaeffer with VS Designs and Anaya Cullen, who might be the most stylish person I have ever met. Thanks to all of them for helping me 'up my stock'.
The new white furniture in action up in Vail at the Welcome Gala for the FIS Ski Championship in Beaver Creek and Vail. A great event at Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek hosted by the Vail Valley Foundation. Hats off to Val Schaeffer of VS Designs for including us on such a great event with a stunning design.
